2nd Grade's Produce Market

Brandon Huggins is one of many Scots for Youth participants who helped harvest produce for the Wagram Primary 2nd Grade's Produce Market.  Shown with him is Norm Sanford with Scots for Youth.  Melissa Tomas with the Cooperative Extension Service led the effort to bring fresh produce to our staff weekly this Fall.  Thanks to all involved who brought all kinds of good vegetables (eggplant, bok choy, kale, peppers!) to our tables.

Tree Trimmings

Students decorated the tree in our vegetable garden with treats for our feathered friends. Mrs. Swail’s kindergarten class made pine cone seed ornaments. Strings of Cheerios were strung by Mrs. Haber’s and Mr. Kryszak’s fourth grade students.

Packages for Soldiers
Second grade students prepared gift packages for a unit of soldiers serving overseas as a part of their Social Studies unit about being good citizens. Students, parents and staff donated items that the second graders packed and sent to the unit this holiday season.

St. Andrews Presentations
A group of St. Andrews University students visited Wagram Primary on December 7. They set up stations about various winter cultural celebrations. All grade levels rotated to each station and enjoyed the presentations and activities shared by the students.
